Sonic Youth - Sister


a great introduction to noise, using a traditional rock setup (despite some very un-traditional guitar tunings!). pioneers in punk rock that are a bit underrated.

    Are you kidding me? When people mention noise rock, sonic youth is usually the first band to get mentioned.

    This song ain't so bad, but the whole album goes nowhere for me. I don't like much past Bad Moon Rising.

    I'm actually selling a huge sonic youth lot of CDs belonging to my friend.

    I was more mentioning punk than noise rock in that situation, I am just an awful writer ;)

    Nirvana/Pixies/etc tend to get mentioned before Sonic Youth, is what I meant. Also, nice collection :)
